Kudzu Duo

Bryan and Vicki backstage at a performance in Sugar Hill, GA

Kudzu Duo is an Atlanta-based chamber music duo started by ethnomusicologist and dizi/guzheng player Vicki Lu and composer and percussionist Bryan Wysocki. Formed while they were graduate students at the University of Georgia, Kudzu combines traditional Chinese instruments with western classical percussion to reimagine music from across the world. Their repertoire explores a wide variety of styles and genres, including music by John Cage, Gregorian Chants, traditional Chinese instrumental music, and contemporary improvisational works.
